Day 1
Location: L'Angleterre Slalom Site
Paddlers: Everyone Except Emma
Weather: Hot Hot Hot
Level: Med-High
Swimmers: Liz x2
Laura x2
Tom
Rich *Lost Paddle
Katie
A short but fun whitewater section that proved to be highly entertaining. Plenty of swims most notably by ex-captain and DUCC legend Rich Wood. To top it all of a lost set of paddles didn't cover Dundee in all it's usual glory.FTBC
Day 2
Location: Sunshine Run, Lower Durance St Celmece-Rabioux
Paddlers: Everyone except Emma
Weather: Hot Hot Breezy
Level: High-Med
Swimmers: Liz x2
Katie
Todays run of the Alpine classic sunshine run was more of a breezy sunshine run.Given yesterdya's special needs qualities, today needed to be as special as a vegetable in a blind club. According to rumour we reched some where near that degree of specialness. The leve was somewhere near humping which is very similiar to Moon and Miss Pog's relationship. The first event of note was Miss Pog's swim. She blamed pedo. The rest was lovely till we reached the Rab. Just the one swim from our tooth lover Miss McKie. Still the Rab took us an hour and a half. FTBC
Day 3
Location: Lower Durance, Rabiuox-Embraum
Paddlers: Everyone except Emma and Slalom boys
Weather: Hot Hot Hot
Level: High-Med
Swimmers: Non.....YAY
Todays emotion....emotional. A very hot sunny day continuing down from the Rab to Embraum. The water was choppy, but fun filled with many love (wave) trains. Quote of the day was 'funk aye' Poggioggiogiiogioggiogiogiooallllloigogioiallo man the funk up. As previously stated no swims made a fantastic day only spoilt by the getting lost trying to find the get out....
Afternoon Run
Location: Onde
Paddlers: Special Group minus Tampon
Weather: Hot
Level: Med-Med
Swimmers: We don't swim
The Onde...Tres funking Bon!!!Constant, sexy, fun with many a bad-ass rock.yeah. 50% hull breach of the Salto, good thing its bad-ass. Kendo hurt like a bitch over rocks but the branchalicious nature of the river hurt Alan's face. Some lacking of bung(e) forced an emergency boat emptyage on one of the few tiny not really there moving downstream kind of wavey eddies.FTBC
Quote Will from Sheffield 'Surely 90% is good enough to locate your own gentials'
Day 4
Location: Lower Claree
Paddlers: Everyone except Roddy
Weather: Scorcher
Level: Low,rocky,scrappy funking wanky rocks
Swimmers: Katie
Laura
Emma x2
Tampon
Another hot sunny day. An eventful ride on the pain train for some, another bum battering for others. If today's river was a type of music it would be rock 'n' roll without the roll. Strainers were rife as Tom found out, nearly going through one backwards. Highlight of the day....Laura's Uber tough, Chuck Norris brace after her Timmy Mallet, face bashing swim. FTBC
Day 5
Location: Braincon Gorge
Paddlers: Prem & Ex Prem Paddler
Weather: Bon
Level: High/Brown
Swimmers: What's a swim......I only know about rolling
Whole group went to look at Braincon gorge, only ex/prem paddler paddled it as it was in flood. Tres Bon Run
Afternoon Run
Location: Onde
Paddlers: Alan, Ali M, Ali O'D, Callum
Weather: Hot Hot
Level: High
Swimmers: Ali O'D
Another great day of the Onde with Ali O'D providing the entertainment with a swim and boat chase that took up the first 1/4 of th river. Rest of the river very good. FTBC
Day 6
Location: Via Ferrata Les Vigneaoux
Paddlers: Ali M, Andy, Callum, Pete,Tampon, Ali O'D
Weather: Ay yea funk its hot
Level: Rocky, Vertical
Swimmers: None but Ali M shat himself
We arrived at the get-in to find not a river but a funking huge cliff with some sketchy wire/rungs/ladders/no foot holds/plank of steel with a grate, which was apparantly a safe way to get to the top. It Wasn;t. Loose ladders provided excitement and Ali O'D did some high altitude maintenance. Wiggly rungs added to the moisture in Andy's pants. Brown trousers for all
Quotes: funk

Afternoon climb

Weather: Ay ya funk its hot
Level: Rocky, Vertical
Swimmers: None, Alan shat himself, he swam in a sea of pop and sweat
Epic fun that even 'Prince Ali Fabulousy' would lick his lips at
