Paddlers: Me Hogg Alan Bruce Robbs Amy
River level: Probably lower than 0.8 on WTW. Had to walk over ~5m or rock to get to the river. River looked bony.
Description: Shite, don't do it at this level.
Also there's a penis (hereby to be referred to as floppy neck man) at the get out who has "installed CCTV cameras" (invisible apparently) to take us to court for getting changed (lol). He had a go at us and we humored his pish chat since he was obviously so well educated (his job was cutting the grass). Calum would have gone all legal on his ass making things worse but luckily floppy neck man stayed away.

Paddlers: Moon Will Burgers Keef Rodderick Sanne
Level: Low on WTW (1.0)
The rarest of the rare dawned on the west coast... a sunny day with blue skies. Seeing this the intrepid six rose early and ate hearty breakfast of burnt porridge (thanks burgers).
Soon we were on our way, a nice blast on the Spean Gorge for everyone to enjoy was on the cards, however Moon was a sad, sad boy as his last trip to this river made him and the bottom of his boat cry. However upon arrival at the get in his mood was lifted by the presence of water covering the bank that would usually indicate a scrapy rapey run.
However our joy was short lived, keith had forgot his BA due to hangover faff on wednesday morning. As the brave captain, moon stepped up and lent keith his BA meaning moon would be running the river exposed to watery molestation. But no matter, he's a mad bastard in a stomper.
On we went, first rapid of note was fairy step, nice G3 rapid through a couple of stoppers but we all styled it.
Couple more G3's along the way lead us to the highly recommended tactical portage, Headbanger. This is a G5 on a good day, where anyone running it would find themselves close to undercuts and rocks that would take your mother out for a nice seafood dinner then never call her again!
Portage lead to giggles for Will and Moon with high altitude seal launches, fun times!!
More bimble brought us to Constriction which at this level is a messy, messy, messy G4+, seeing as we didn't fancy a long bout of down time and we'd forgot our diving gear and moon being BA-less we took another tactical portage.
More grade 3 giggles brought us to "Ejector Seat" and the first round of carnage for the day. Keith and Sanne both chalking up a swim as the were splatted against a rock upside down due to a powerful curling wave. Hero time for Burgers and Will as they rescued keith and Sanne's boat.
The lack of tree in Splitter rapid makes this uneventful. Burgers concurred. Then a long flat section to the get out.
Tasty lunch on the riverside in the sun ended a good mornings work.
