Fergus

So the day began with an early start at the store. Some faffing around and a couple of no shows later and we were on our way west.
A few hours later we arrived at the Green Welly to destroy a few toilet bowls. A few mins down the road we arrived at Glen Orchy. After Tom's late braking and 3 point turn epic we made the junction.
There was some glaswegian people that turned so we sorted out shuttles with them, mean while the rest of us ran the last drop on the Kinglass.
On the Orchy, Big rock passed smoothly and then Tom had some little upside down time on Chicken Shoot.
Not long after was sheeeeeep Trolley Gorge then followed by one of the Grades 5's today, Eas an Dubha. By then, most of the kayakers on the river had caught up with each other. This provided us with perfect a spectating opportunity. First mahn down was scarily close to the Nail-your-face-line...
After this we got on, only to see Fergus properly pinned in the middle of the river. Fergus can tell the story, but there was frantic go pro red light action from Tom.
So after we navigated "Sore Tooth" "Rollercoaster" and "End of Civilisation" we came to Eas a' Chathaidh. The other Grade 5 on the river, with the one looking do able Moon bashed straight down, fergus then went for it, getting tailied at the bottom of the first drop. Only to receive the respect from most of the people on the river. "I wouldn't run that in a topo" was overheard.
The Final rapid was witches step. I told Fergus, "Right if you want an easy boof, Left if you want some downtime." Unfortunately, Fergus hadn't heard of the use down time on a river before...
All in all, a really good trip.
